It’s a brand new year, and we are ready for a fresh start (goodbye 2020!)! This year, the Stitch Together Admins are back with amazing crochet alongs using our brand new, wonderfully creative designs! We’re so grateful for a year of guest designers for 2020, but we are extremely excited to get back in the saddle and present our crochet projects to the group once again.
For the month of January, we say ‘hello’ to Stitch Together Admin Amber from Divine Debris! The cal begins on Monday January 4th, but I couldn’t resist showing you all a sneak peek of my project so far.
I’m a big fan of combining yarns and textures in interesting ways, and so when Amber showed the team her design, I dove into my yarn stash and came back with some pretty amazing choices! Take a peek!
WeCrochet Fable Fur – Topo
One of the first yarns I wanted to use was WeCrochet Fable Fur! It’s so soft, and so dreamy. It’s on the medium side, weight wise, so perfect for this top secret project! I went with the colour Topo, which is an icy blue colour.
WeCrochet Swish – DK
The next yarn I grabbed was WeCrochet Swish! It’s such a beautiful yarn, made up of 100% merino wool. Not only is it extremely soft, but it also gives great stitch definition!
WeCrochet Chroma Twist
The last yarn I grabbed was WeCrochet Chroma Twist. I love a pop of colour, and Chroma has some of the funnest colours ever! They all contain a long gradient, so this one called ‘GoGo Boots’ goes from a neon yellow to a more neon green in a slow, gradual change. I love the way it looks next to the white and the blue!
