Yarspirations Caron Simply Soft (315yds/170g): 1 skein Ocean (A), 1 skein Persimmon (B).
Materials
US Size G/6 (4mm) crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors, measuring tape.
Abbreviations
Ch = chain
Hdc = half double crochet
Fphdc = front post half double crochet
Bphdc = back post half double crochet
Special Stitches
Fphdc2tog = Yo, insert hook in indicated st from front to back, yo and draw up a loop, yo and insert hook in next st from front to back, yo and draw up a loop, yo and draw through 4 loops on hook.
Bphdc2tog = Yo, insert hook in indicated st from back to front, yo and draw up a loop, yo and insert hook in next st from back to front, yo and draw up a loop, yo and draw through 4 loops on hook.
Reverse Single Crochet = Treat this stitch exactly like a single crochet, except that you are working into the stitch to the RIGHT of your hook (not the left). Pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through both loops on hook.

Instructions
Slippers
Make 2. Beginning with A, make a magic loop.
Round 1: Ch 1, hdc 6 in ring, join–6 sts.
Round 2: Ch 1, 2 fphdc around each st, join–12 sts.
Round 3: Ch 1, [2 fphdc around 1st st, fphdc around next st] around, join–18 sts.
Round 4: Ch 1, [2 fphdc around 1st st, fphdc around next 2 sts] around, join–24 sts.
Round 5: Ch 1, [2 fphdc around 1st st, fphdc around next 3 sts] around, join–30 sts.
Size Small Only
Round 6: Ch 1, fphdc 8, 2 fphdc around next, fphdc 13, 2 fphdc around next, fphdc 7, join–32 sts.
Size Medium Only
Round 6: Ch 1, fphdc, [2 fphdc around 1st st, fphdc around next 4 sts] x 2, fphdc 9, [2 fphdc around 1st st, fphdc around next 4 sts] x 2 around, join–34 sts.
Size Large Only
Round 6: Ch 1, fphdc 4, 2 fphdc around next, [fphdc 4, 2 fphdc around next] around, join–36 sts.
All Sizes
Round 7: Ch 1, fphdc around, join.
Repeat until piece measures 3.5 (4.5, 5.5)”. Change to B.
Repeat Round 7 until piece measures 4.5 (5.5, 6.5)”.

Heel
Fasten off, join yarn 11 (14, 15 sts back from starting st, this will put the seam at bottom of foot.
Row 1: Ch 1, fphdc 26 (28, 30), leave remaining 6 sts unworked, turn–26 (28, 30) sts.
Row 2: Ch 1, bphdc across, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, fphdc across, turn.
Repeat Rows 2-3 until piece measures 8 (9, 10)”, ending in a Row 2.
Row 4: Ch 1, fphdc 11 (12, 13), [fphdc2tog] twice, fphdc 11 (12, 13), turn–24 (26, 28) sts.
Row 5: Ch 1, bphdc 10 (11, 12), [bphdc2tog] twice, bphdc 10 (11, 12), turn–22 (24, 26) sts.
Seam
Fold the slipper to seam with the RS facing each other, and WS facing out (seam will be on the inside of the slipper). Working through both thicknesses, sc seam closed. Fasten off weave in ends.
Cuff
With B.
Round 1: Join at back of slipper in seam, ch 1, hdc 15 (17, 18) around side of slipper, fphdc in 6 skipped fphdc, hdc 15 (17, 18) around other side of slipper, join-36 (40, 42) sts.
Rounds 2-3: Ch 1, fphdc around, join.
Round 4: Ch 1, Reverse SC around, join.
Fasten off, weave in ends.
