The You’re A Wizard Scarf is knit completely in the round, in a tube! It creates a comfy looking scarf that looks great from all angles.
Skill Level: Beginner
Materials: Yarn: Lion Brand Color Made Easy Bulky Weight Yarn (200g/247yds): 2 Skeins Anthurium #195-113 (A – main color), 1 skein Tumeric #195-158 (B – stripe color). US Size 11 (8mm) circular needles, 20” cable, yarn needle, scissors, stitch marker.
Gauge: 8 sts x 12 rows = 3inches
Dimensions: 83” long x 6½” wide.
Abbreviations: co = cast on, k = knit, bo = bind off
Notes:
1). Work with specified color until new color is indicated.
Pattern Instructions
With A, co 40 sts.
Rounds 1-30: K 40 sts.
Rounds 31-34: With B, K 40 sts..
Rounds 35-42: With A, K 40 sts.
Rounds 43-46: With B, K 40 sts.
Rounds 47-106: With A, K 40 sts.
Rounds 107-258: Repeat Rounds 31-106.
Rounds 259-274: Repeat Rounds 31-46.
Rounds 275-304: With A, Repeat Rounds 1-30.FinishingCut 16” pieces of both colors of yarn, fold in half and draw folded loop through sts at each end scarf. Draw tails through folded loop to finish. Using a steam blocker, gently steam the fringe and brush it out with a comb to straighten the strands. Trim ends evenly across once blocked.
