The Valentine Kitty Pillow is meant to look like a long stretchy cat, when you reach down to pick them up under their arms, SO CUTE. Now, I know cats don’t stretch this much, but they are also not bright red with adorable heart shaped toe beans either so it’s okay, right? I hope you enjoy this pattern! 1. Hey, about how much stuffing did you use? And what type? At Walmart they have two different kinds, A softer one that comes in 12oz and a thicker one that comes in 16oz just to give you an idea. Thanks! Really cute pattern!

    1. I can’t quite remember how much stuffing but I would go for the 16oz to be on the safe side šŸ™‚

  2. I found the pattern extremely unproportional and had to add a bunch of rows to the main body piece to match with the belly piece, but overall the rest very very easy to understand and worked out well!

      1. I did this pattern and it’s nothing like yours. I did the 62sc and it doesn’t look as long as yours. Started the 5 then 2tg and so on,
still way smaller than yours. I don’t understand what went wrong?

  3. I am having a great time crocheting your Valentine Kitty Pillow! I completed the back legs to your pattern and they did not look like the photo. In rereading the pattern the center of the leg is 4 rows before changing yarn. To make mine look like the photo I added 4 rows of 24 sc around then changed yarn. Overall GREAT PATTERN! Can’t wait to give it to my grand daughter for her birthday! Is there a way to send you a photo?

  4. Hi, just came across the super cute ā€œLong Kitty Pillowā€ ….. I see that you also have a dog pillow, is it super stretched like the cat pillow ( I hope so) Where can I find it ?? Thank You for the free patterns that are also super cute

  5. Oh my this is just darling I have 3 cats and I am thinking I need to try and do this,
    Thank you so so much

    Kay

  6. I want to thank you for the pattern. I going to do this for my niece who mute and deaf, she love cats. I will let you know when I give it to her.

    1. I know I am so excited when I saw this and am trying to think of my cats friends that would love it too, is the pattern very hard?
what a great pattern to try during this stay at home time.

  7. I love this pillow. Now someone in my Twitter line is asking for the pattern, Is it alright if I share the link with her?

      1. If the body has 68 rows & the belly patch has 135 rows, how does this fit? What am I missing because the belly goes way beyond the body.

    1. Hey I have another question. My belly patch is not looking like your pic and I cant figure out what’s going on. I couldn’t find a place to post a pic on here to show you what i mean. The nose aprt looks the same and then where you chain the 11 on both sides but then On your pic it shows after about 3 rows it decreases again and then increases for quite a number of rows before decreasing, increasing and them decreasing at the end. Sorry i hope that makes sense. It would be easier if i could show you a picture.

      1. I just made the whole belly patch too and now after 136 rows see theres an error in the pattern … theres no decrease for the top 2 paws 😦

        1. Hey there! This is not an error, there actually is no decrease and there isn’t meant to be one. The paws are sewn on top of the belly patch.
