The Strawberry Sunshine Blanket combines a classic granny stripe with luscious Strawberry Stitches that pop right off of the fabric! Wrap up in this romantic summer blanket on those cool nights by the campfire or at the beach! I’m so excited to offer The Strawberry Sunshine Blanket as a free crochet pattern below, but also as a Lion Brand Yarn Kit where you get all of the yarn (in any colour) plus the pattern delivered right to your door!

I first designed these adorable strawberry rows for my book ‘A Modern Guide to Textured Crochet‘ which was published this Spring! I loved the idea of crocheting strawberries into the rows without having to sew anything at all! It creates a wonderfully whimsical pattern and a great texture! This book is divided into chapters surrounding the Seasons, so Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. There are lovely texture stitches and patterns for each season!
For the Strawberry Sunshine Blanket, I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice Yarn. It’s such a great medium weight value yarn!
