Yarn

Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend (392 yds/200g): 1 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3) balls each Soothing Lavender (MC), and Sugarcane (CC). 

Materials

US Size 6 (4mm) circulars on 32” cord, yarn needle, scissors. 

Abbreviations

K = Knit

K2tog = knit two together

P = Purl

P2tog = purl two together

BO = bind off. 

Sizes

XS, Small, Medium, Large, XL, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x. 

Measurements 

Bust: 28-30 (32-34, 36-38, 40-42, 44-46, 48-50, 50-54, 56-58, 60-62)”

Gauge

16 sts x 12 rows = 4”

Notes

  1. Weave in ends as work progresses. 
  2. Tee is worked in pieces that are seamed together. 
  3. Tee is worked from the bottom up.
  4. Change between MC and CC every 2 rows for entire pattern. Do not cut yarn between colour changes, just carry it up the sides as you go. 

Instructions

Back Panel

Change between MC and CC every 2 rows for the entire pattern.

With MC, CO 110 (118, 122, 130, 134, 142, 146, 154, 162) sts.  

Rows 1-9:  [K2, P2] across, turn. 

Rows 10-13: K across, turn. 

Row 14:  K across, turn. 

Row 15:  P across, turn. 

Rows 16-17:  Repeat Rows 14-15.

Rows 18-21:  Repeat Rows 10-13.

Next Rows:  Repeat Rows 14-15 until piece measures 13 (13, 13, 13.5, 13.5, 13.5, 13.5, 13.5, 13.5)” 

Shape Armholes

Row 1:  BO 6 sts, k across, turn–104 (112, 116, 124, 128, 136, 140, 148, 156) sts. 

Row 2:  BO 6 sts, p across, turn–98 (106, 110, 118, 122, 130, 134, 142, 150) sts. 

Row 3:  K across, turn. 

Row 4:  P across, turn. 

Next Rows:  Repeat Rows 3-4 until Armholes measure 7.5 (8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 9.5, 10,10,10.5)”

Shape Neck 

Row 1:  K 30 (34, 35, 38, 39, 43, 44, 46, 50), join a second ball of yarn and BO center 38, (38, 40, 42, 44, 44, 46, 50, 50) sts, k to end, turn–60 (68, 70, 76, 84, 92, 94, 92, 100) sts. 

Row 2:  Working both sides at the same time, p across, turn.

Row 3:  K across to last 2 sts of first side, k2tog, working on 2nd side, k2tog, k across, turn. 

Row 4: Repeat Row 2. 

Row 5:  Repeat Row 3–28 (32, 33, 36, 37, 41, 42, 44, 48) sts on either side. 

Row 6:  Working both sides at the same time, k across, turn. 

Row 7:  Repeat Row 2. 

Next Rows:  Repeat Rows 6-7 until Armhole measures 8.5 (9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, 10.5, 11, 11, 11.5)”. 

BO all sts, weave in ends. 

Front

Work as for Back until Armholes measure 5.5 (6, 7, 7.5, 7.5, 8, 8, 8.5, 8.5)”. 

Shape Neck

Row 1:  K 39 (43, 45, 48, 50, 54, 55, 58, 62) sts, join a second ball of yarn and BO center 20 (20, 20, 22, 22, 22, 24, 26, 26) sts, k across to end, turn. 

Row 2:  Working both sides, p across to last 2 sts of first side, p2tog, p2tog on second side, p across to end, turn. 

Row 3:  Working both sides, k across to last 2 sts of first side, k2tog, k2tog on second side, k across to end, turn. 

Rows 4-8 (8, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 10, 10):  Repeat Rows 2-3. 

Sizes Med-3x only:

Row 10:  P across, turn. 

All Rows

Rows 9 (11):  Repeat Row 3.

Row 10 (12):  P across, turn. 

Rows 11 (13)-15 (17):  Repeat Rows 9(11)-10 (12). 

Row 16 (18):  K across, turn. 

Row 17 (19):  P across, turn. 

Next Rows:  Repeat Rows 16 (18)-17 (19) until Armholes measure 8.5 (9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, 10.5, 11, 11, 11.5)”. 

BO all sts, weave in ends. 

Sleeves

Make 2. 

Using MC, CO 42 (42, 46, 46, 46, 46, 54, 54, 54) sts. 

Rows 1-21:  Repeat Rows 1-21 of Back Panel. 

Rows 22-25:  Repeat Rows 14-15 of Back Panel. 

BO all sts, weave in ends. 

Finishing

Block pieces as desired. Sew shoulder seams. Sew in Sleeves, sewing BO edge at top of Sleeve to straight edge of armhole and upper side edges of Sleeve BO edges of armhole, sew side and Sleeve seams. 

Collar

With RS facing, and beginning at right shoulder, pick up and knit approximately 1 st in each BO st, 2 sts for every 3 rows along vertical edges, and 3 sts for every 4 rows along diagonal edges. You will pick up approximately 112 (112, 116, 120, 120, 120, 124, 132, 132, 132) sts. 

Join for working in the round, place marker for beginning of round. Begin 2×2 Rib (k2, p2), work even for 1”. BO all sts, weave in ends.
