5 balls Black #27141 (MCA), Silver #27157 (MCB), White #27160 (MCC).
1 ball each Pucker #27155 (CCA), Gulfstream #27148 (CCB), Sky #27158 (CCC), Mint #27151 (CCD), Alfalfa #27138 (CCE), Macaw #27150 (CCF), Canary #27143 (CCG).
MC refers to Main Colour, CC refers to Contrasting Colour.
Materials
US Size J/10 (6.0mm) crochet hook, yarn needle, scissors.
Finished Measurements
48″ x 48″
Gauge
12 hdc x 12 Rows = 4”
Abbreviations
MC = main colour
CC = contrasting colour
Notes
- Carry unworked yarn under stitches of working yarn.
2. Chain 1 at beginning of row does not count as a stitch.
3. Weave in ends as work progresses.
Instructions:
Work Contrasting colours in repeat from CCA through to CCG for every Wrong Side Row.
With MCA.
Row 1(RS): Ch 151, hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each st across, turn–150 hdc.
Row 2: Ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, with CC *[sc, dc in next] 25 times**, with MC hdc 50, repeat from * to **, turn–150 sts.
Row 4: Ch 1, with MC, *[sc, dc in next] 25 times**, hdc 50, repeat from * to **, turn.
Rows 5-46: Repeat Rows 3-4.
Fasten off MCA.
With MCB.
Row 47: Ch 1, with MC hdc 50, [with CC sc, dc in next] 25 times, with MC hdc 50, turn.
Row 48: Ch 1, with MC hdc 50, [sc, dc in next] 25 times, hdc 50, turn.
Rows 49-89: Repeat Rows 47-48.
