The Merry Mushroom Bag was actually inspired by a vintage cookie jar that I keep in my kitchen! My mom had a set of the jars in my childhood kitchen, and when I found one at a thrift store as an adult, I was so excited. It brings back fond memories of cookies that always had this distinct kind of stale taste (but weirdly still good?) from being in the jar too long and sunshine.
