I am so excited to introduce the Lutra Fable Fur Blanket to you! This quick and easy faux-fur blanket is so warm and cozy, and perfect for gifting! I crocheted the Lutra Fable Fur Blanket using yarn from my friends at WeCrochet, and oh my goodness is this blanket cuddly, I’m in love.

The Yarn
Fable Fur Yarn from WeCrochet is SO SOFT. It’s also light as air, making it a dream to crochet with! As I was working up my Lutra Fable Fur Blanket, I found myself stopping to feel the fabric that I was working up, it was so beautiful! I will definitely be working with Fable Fur again in the near future, it’s become one of my favourite yarns to date!

The WeCrochet Website describes Capretta:

Add a stylish trim to your next accessory, or work up a gorgeous wrap or afghan exclusively in this premium, 100% polyester yarn. What makes it premium? This grade of polyester holds its shape well and doesn’t shrink. Projects will work up fast at this super bulky weight, so you’ll have a menagerie of cozy accessories and home décor projects in no time!“

My 12mm Crochet Hook
My beautiful crochet hook seen above is from my friend Evelyn at Pink Sheep Designs. This hook is AMAZING! It’s so light-weight that it feels like you’re crocheting with a feather, I can’t even describe it. Usually larger hooks can get heavy, so this was such a wonderful tool to use, and made crocheting a breeze!

Do you think 10 skeins would be enough for a full sized blanket?
For sure! I used 8 for mine and it’s pretty generously sized.
