The Thistleberry Sweater is finally here! And it is AMAZING!!!
Ruffled collar, twin cables running down the front panel, and ribbed trim? Sign me up!!
I had the pleasure of making two of these cozy sweaters, one for myself in Loops & Threads Joy DK, and the other for my best friend Kate in Mary Maxim Mellowspun yarn. Both yarns lent to a different fabric, the Joy DK having a bit of a sheen to it, and the Mellowspun being ULTRA soft!
We just love them both, and can’t wait to wear them basically everywhere this holiday season. Kate and I live in Southern Ontario, Canada where it gets frigged in the winter months, and our Thistleberry’s are the perfect secret weapon for battling a chill.
For the Thistleberry Test, I was extremely lucky to have some incredible pattern testers who helped shape this amazing pattern and make it perfect for you! Take a peek at some of their awesome creations!
Julme from @mysquarehat did such an amazing job on her Thistleberry! By using a sport weight yarn and changing the length of her sleeves, she turned the Thistleberry into a summer top, and one that looks incredible!
Chantal from @y.a.r.n.i.q.u.e created this amazing light grey version of the Thistleberry and I’m in love! I actually want to make myself a white version to wear after the holidays are over.
