Crochet this adorable pumpkin in 1 HOUR

Fall is quickly approaching, and can you believe it, I have never crocheted my own pumpkin for my home before! This 1-Hour Pumpkin is so fun, and so fast, I can see myself making a few of these to decorate the house this year. I used Lion Brand ‘I Wanna Make a Blankie Yarn’ and an amazing sparkly crochet hook from Pink Sheep Design to crochet my white and black pumpkin, and I can’t wait to share the beginner-friendly instructions with you!

Here are the details!

The 1-Hour Pumpkin is an amazing way to use up your super bulky blanket yarn for an adorable Fall project. This pumpkin uses a large crochet hook to create lots of texture, and it can be made in less than an hour!

The Yarn

Lion Brand I Wanna Make A Blankie Yarn

I had some bulky weight yarn in my stash called Lion Brand ‘I Wanna Make a Blankie’ that I thought would be perfect for the 1-Hour Pumpkin pattern. The yarn is soft, quick to work with, and still allows for texture to shine through. I had white on hand, and I topped my pumpkin with some extra Lion Brand Hue + Me yarn I had in my stash as well.

The Crochet Hook

I used an amazing hook from Pink Sheep Design for my pumpkin! It’s a 3-D Printed Custom hook, and it is light as a feather. I LOVE the colour that Evelyn sent to me, mine is green fading into mustard yellow, and super sparkly! You can find this hook here >> Vist Pink Sheep Designs on Etsy
