It’s here, it’s here!
I’ve been creating some really fun behind the scenes videos from the days of my week, and putting them up in the form of a YouTube Vlog for you guys, and also for myself! It’s so neat to be able to stop and enjoy those little moments in life that usually pass by in the blink of an eye. From moments with family, friends, and more, this vlog is becoming the highlight of my whole week!
Friday
This week starts out on Friday, where I am always at my desk at work. I get so much done when I dedicate a chunk of hours to my to-do list.
I try really hard to allot reasonable amounts of time to each item on my list, and doing that makes me really focus on that task instead of getting distracted by other things that I might need to do, ie emails, messages etc. Hooray for crossing things off!!
Friday also means that I do Annie’s Stitch Social, a weekly Facebook Live that takes place on the Annie’s Facebook Page at noon est. It’s fun to keep in touch with all of the fans in the community!
Saturday
This past Saturday I had the utmost pleasure of hanging out with @and.she.laughs , @meghanmakesdo , @a_cute_design , and @rinknits for a coffee date in Ohio. Chrisandra and I crossed the American border from Canada to pick up Meghan who is visiting family, and we met up with Jenna and Rin at The Rustbelt Coffee Shop – it has swings!!! The coffee was absolutely delicious, and the company was even better.

Embarrassing thing that didn’t make it into the video, we got chatting about babies, and I ended up getting emotional and having a bit of a cry because it brought back all of the feelings of losing my own babe several years ago. I was mortified that I couldn’t push the tears away, but everyone made me feel so comfortable and loved. That’s what friends are for, right?
When I got home, I ran a bunch of errands with Sean, including stopping at the pet shop for more hay for our bunny Neville. That’s when I found Sean watching these adorable mice running around. He was so happy lol.
Sunday
Sunday is another day at work for me. So exciting. *sigh. I think I went home and crashed after that, I can’t remember if anything else exciting happened. Probably not…..
Monday
Monday was a big family day, we went to the mall together for some back to school shopping for Emma-Noel and Conan. I also got mustard yellow pants, so I’ll call that a win. Sean and I have been playing this outdoor ball toss game, and it gets heated friends, let me tell you. We are competitive!
Tuesday
Tuesday we brought my sweet Grandmother some donuts to pre-celebrate her 93rd birthday. We have family coming from Toronto, and Vancouver to spend all of next week together to celebrate as a family. I’m so excited! She loves Maple Glazed donuts by the way…
Her backyard and kitchen are two of my favourite places on the whole planet.
I also showed a behind the scenes of my photo set up! I usually take photos on a white board by the front window where a ton of natural sunlight comes in. Here’s the final result!
Wednesday
I’ve been working on the next Stitch Together Official crochet along project, I can’t wait to show you what it is!

Wednesday also means Wip Wednesday for me, where I do a weekly Facebook Live on CoCo Crochet Lee each Wednesday at 8pm, followed by and Instagram Live at 830 where I interview a Maker in the crafting community. It’s so fun to do! This week’s guest was Michelle from @twobrothersblankets.

Before the lives began, we visited a local boardgame cafe called ‘Wizards of Walkerville’ to play a boardgame or two. The cheesecake was amazing!

Who doesn’t love happy yarn mail!! I was so excited to receive the yarn I need from Lion Brand Yarn to crochet an upcoming design for Crochet! Magazine.
