I used some absolutely stunning Lion Brand Touch of Merino for the Blairwood Sweater, and it was a dream to work with (even in a dark yarn colour!). The Yarn is so smooth, and the stitch definition is unreal.

Merino is the crème de la crème of wool, prized for its springy stitches, cashmere-like feel and excellent drape. Lion Brand® has created Touch of Merino as the second yarn in our Touch of Luxe Yarn Collection.

    1. Hello! The gauge is 18 sts x 16 rows in hdc. That means you can chain 19, hdc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each st across, turn. Work 16 rows and measure your swatch to ensure it is 4″ x 4″.
If you don’t want to do Fhdc, you can add 1 st to the listed number and chain that many. Hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in each across.

  1. Is there a front panel???? I’m a little confused…..or do I make a front panel the same size as the back panel???
    Someone please help????

    1. Hey there! On the pattern you’ll see the Front panel listed as ‘Front’ with continuations to Right Shoulder and Left Shoulder 😀

  2. At the end of the Body part are you supposed to Fasten off and weave in ends? Because if not and continuing to the Shape Armholes you end up with an odd hole!
